While out looking for wildlife in Israel, I was distracted by some beautiful Hairy Pink Flax wildflowers dotting the landscape. Putting on my macro lens, I began to document the scene. Illuminating the flowers with light from my flash, I was able to achieve a studio-like effect for this image, despite it being taken in the middle of the day.
