A bird of mountainous regions across western North America, the Steller’s Jay is the provincial bird of my home province of British Columbia. I spend countless hours each winter hiking in the coast mountains around Vancouver, searching for this bird in the stunning snowy landscape. I used a wide angle lens to capture this jay in it's environment, as it flew from tree to tree around me in the snow.
