Despite being found across most of Canada, the secretive nature of the lynx makes them an extremely rare sight. It was an incredible experience to encounter this wild cat in the forests of the southern Yukon. It paused only briefly and afforded a quick stare towards my camera before continuing its silent trek through the trees.
